How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Employment Solicitor (5 years+++ PQE)

    Engagement Options: Full-Time | Part-Time | Employed | Consultant

    Fully Remote (UK)

    The Opportunity

An established and growing private practice is looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor (5+++ years PQE) to join its expanding team, with a role built around genuine flexibility. This firm has structured the position to fit around you and is open to:

    • Full time or part time arrangements
    • Traditional employed positions
    • Consultancy agreements

If you are a commercially minded solicitor who values autonomy, flexibility and strong earning potential, while still benefiting from the backing and infrastructure of an established practice, this could be the role for you. You will advise both individuals and businesses across a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment matters with real scope to shape how you work.

    The Role

    You will:

    • Manage your own varied employment law caseload from instruction through to resolution
    • Advise on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy, grievances and settlement agreements
    • Draft and review employment contracts, policies and handbooks
    • Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings where required
    • Provide strategic, commercially focused advice to SME and corporate clients
    • Build and maintain long term client relationships
    • Contribute to the ongoing growth and reputation of the firm
    • This role offers real autonomy and responsibility from day one, giving you the chance to make your mark rather than simply slot into an existing structure.

    About You

    You will be:

    • A UK qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in employment law within private practice
    • Experienced in handling your own caseload independently
    • Confident advising claimant and/or respondent clients
    • Comfortable working remotely, with strong organisation and self management skills
    • Commercial, pragmatic and solutions focused

    What's on Offer

    • £70,000-£100,000 salary
    • Performance related bonus structure, with £25,000 to £30,000 achievable from Year 2
    • Fully remote working
    • Flexible working pattern and complete autonomy over your hours
    • Full back office, compliance and marketing support, so you can focus on fee earning
    • Supportive and entrepreneurial culture
    • Opportunity to maximise earnings within a flexible model
    • Full time or part time opportunities available
    • Ideal for those looking to supplement an existing practice or workload
    • Minimum commitment of just 15 hours per week, with flexibility to work 25+ hours if preferred

Whether you are seeking a complete career shift towards flexible remote practice, or a well supported way to build on an existing caseload, this role is designed to work around your life.
