We're recruiting Production Operatives / Coil Winders to join a well-established and successful manufacturer based in Stroud.
You don't need previous coil winding experience. If you have a background in assembly, production, engineering or hands-on manufacturing, the company will provide the specialist training you need.
And with pay of up to £16 per hour, a four-day working week and a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity, there's plenty to like about this one!

What will you actually be doing?
As a Manufacturing Operative, you'll be trained to manufacture specialist components where quality, accuracy and attention to detail really matter.
It's a varied, hands-on role that will include:
Setting and programming machinery to produce precision copper coils
Winding different gauges of copper wire onto components
Working with small and intricate parts
Carrying out electrical testing and quality inspections
Soldering, crimping and moulding components
Using hand tools and specialist production equipment
Following technical drawings and detailed work instructions
Checking your finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
Accurately recording completed production work using company systemsThis is precision manufacturing rather than high-speed production, so it will really suit someone who enjoys concentrating on a task and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Who are we looking for?
You could be a great fit if you have previous experience within assembly, manufacturing, production or a similar hands-on environment.
We're particularly interested in people who:
Have excellent attention to detail
Have good manual dexterity and enjoy practical work
Are comfortable working with small or intricate components
Can confidently use basic hand tools
Can follow technical drawings and written instructions
Have basic IT skills
Take pride in the quality of their work
Are reliable, patient and willing to learn something newAn overhead crane licence would be an advantage, but it's certainly not essential.
