Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £33,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home

Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: 12 months 

We are looking for a creative and digitally minded Digital Marketing Executive to join a growing marketing team.

This is a varied role where you will help deliver digital campaigns across social media, websites, paid advertising and content, with plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas and recommendations to the table.

The Role

You will support the wider marketing team in increasing brand awareness, engagement and customer acquisition across a range of digital channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting digital acquisition campaigns across commercial and charity products
Creating and recommending engaging digital content to increase awareness and drive conversions
Supporting website improvements and helping to develop effective customer journeys
Contributing to SEO and GEO activity, including keyword research and website optimisation
Managing and updating Google Business Profile activity
Supporting social media channels and online community management
Assisting with paid search and PPC activity, making recommendations to improve performance
Overseeing paid social campaigns designed to generate leads
Supporting campaign reporting and analysing digital performance
Assisting with digital budgets and testing different approaches to campaign delivery
Supporting wider website transformation projects
Attending occasional events across the UK when required
About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a digital marketing role who is confident working across multiple campaigns and channels.

You will ideally have:

Experience working within digital marketing
Experience delivering engagement campaigns through digital content and social media
Good knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
Experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Hootsuite
Strong copywriting skills and a confident approach to creating engaging content
An understanding of SEO, PPC and digital acquisition
The ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
An understanding of how AI can be used to improve audience reach and engagement
Excellent organisation and communication skills
A creative eye for content, design and layout
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
