Setting: SEND ARP within a mainstream primary school
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: £95-£115 per day PAYE
Experience: SEN experience required
The Role
You will work closely with the ARP team to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND needs, both within the specialist provision and, where appropriate, alongside their mainstream peers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support
Supporting pupils with their learning and development
Helping pupils develop communication and social skills
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Following individual support plans and EHCP targets
Creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment
Working closely with teachers and other professionals
Encouraging pupils to develop independence and confidence
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, resilient and adaptable, with previous experience supporting children with SEND.
Experience with Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, sensory needs, complex needs or behavioural needs would be highly desirable.
