Pay: £150-£265 per day PAYE, depending on experience

Qualification: QTS required
Experience: Experience teaching within an SEN, SEMH or alternative provision setting desirableThe school provides a nurturing, therapeutic and relationship-based environment, supporting pupils who may have experienced significant barriers to education.
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible English lessons, while developing positive relationships with pupils and supporting their wider social and emotional development.
Your Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging English lessons
Adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
Creating a positive, calm and inclusive classroom environment
Building strong and trusting relationships with pupils
Supporting pupils who may have gaps in their education
Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies
Monitoring progress and providing appropriate feedback
Working closely with teaching assistants and pastoral staff
Supporting pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence
Contributing to a safe and supportive school environment
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a qualified English Teacher with QTS who is passionate about working with young people and is able to adapt their teaching style to suit pupils with additional needs.
Experience within SEMH, SEN, PRUs, alternative provision or challenging mainstream environments would be highly desirable, although strong mainstream teachers with the right attitude and behaviour-management skills will also be considered.
You will need to be:

Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism, emotional regulation difficulties or gaps in education would be advantageous.
