How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Supply Chain Coordinator

    Coalville

    *    Full-time, Permanent
    *    Hours: 07:30–16:30
    *    Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits

    Please note: You must be authorised to work in the UK. No agencies please.

    About the Group

    The BakeRite Company (The TradeLink International Group Ltd) is an experienced importer, stockist, and distributor of high-quality, healthy, natural, and free-from ingredients for the specialist bakery and food and drink markets.

    This is a business that values honesty, trust, professionalism, and people who go the extra mile. You’ll be joining a supportive environment where your contribution genuinely makes a difference and where high standards are the norm, not the exception.

    The Role

    This is a key operational role supporting the end-to-end running of the supply chain. Working closely with procurement, logistics, production, quality, sales, and technical teams, you’ll make sure stock is accurate, suppliers deliver on their commitments, product movements run smoothly, and service levels stay high for both customers and internal stakeholders.

    Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the role carries real breadth across supplier management, import documentation, inventory and demand planning, and market intelligence, with a strong focus on our specialist free-from and allergen-free ingredient ranges. This role is office-based in Coalville.

    Key Responsibilities

    *    Monitor suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met across product quality, traceability and allergen-free status, including certificates of authenticity with every shipment.
    *    Ensure import documentation is accurate and completed on time, working with logistics to track arrivals and support smooth cross-border movement and goods inwards processing.
    *    Support the Head of Supply Chain in obtaining supplier offers, preparing for Quarterly Business Reviews and raising purchase orders for approval.
    *    Refer all new suppliers to Technical & Quality Assurance for approval before trading and support the Blends Manager with supplier administration.
    *    Maintain accurate product, supplier, pricing and lead-time data across ERP/MRP systems and forecasting tools.
    *    Monitor inventory and maintain ingredient demand forecasts within agreed parameters, flagging when adjustments may be required.
    *    Work with the Head of Supply Chain and sales team to optimise stock quantity and location, minimise freight and warehousing costs, and maintain lean inventory.
    *    Raise timely replenishment recommendations before minimum stock levels are reached, including blend components agreed with the Blend & Product Manager, to meet customer commitments.
    *    Identify non-moving, slow-moving and expiring stock, escalating it promptly and arranging disposal once written off.
    *    Monitor market trends, supplier updates, shipping conditions and harvest forecasts, escalating potential risks and opportunities to support proactive decision-making.
    *    Handle allocated Helpdesk enquiries and provide backup customer service support, including order processing and enquiry handling.

    Skills and Experience

    *    Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a purchasing or logistics function within the food retail, sales, or manufacturing sector - this includes international trade.
    *    Highly organised, with excellent time management and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
    *    Obsessively accurate, with a high level of diligence and attention to detail. You find and fix errors before anyone else does.
    *    A clear and confident communicator, able to engage professionally with international suppliers both verbally and in writing.
    *    Customer-centric, with strong listening skills and perceptiveness when dealing with suppliers.
    *    Confident working with ERP/MRP systems and forecasting tools; comfortable maintaining accurate data.
    *    Competent and confident in using AI tools to improve efficiency and insight.
    *    Self-motivated and able to work effectively with a “light-touch” management style.
    *    A genuine team player who actively contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.
    *    A strong sense of responsibility for your own work and personal development.

    Benefits

    *    Competitive remuneration package.
    *    Enhanced pension contributions.
    *    Company-funded private medical insurance for you and your family.
    *    20 days’ holiday plus your birthday off, plus bank holidays (29 days per annum) and additional holiday entitlement for long service.
    *    Opportunity to purchase additional holiday via salary sacrifice.
    *    Free breakfast and lunch when working in the office and all refreshments.
    *    A positive, high-performance working environment in our modern Coalville office.
    *    Funded opportunities for ongoing professional development.
    *    Stable, family-owned business with open communication and collaborative culture.
    *    Free on-site parking with EV charging.
