Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a secondary school in Wirral who are looking for a Science Technician to join their dedicated Science Department.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a scientific or laboratory background who enjoys working in a practical environment and supporting students with their learning.

The Role:

Preparing equipment and materials for practical science lessons
Supporting teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments
Setting up and clearing away practical activities
Maintaining laboratory equipment and resources
Ensuring laboratories are clean, safe and well organised
Managing stock levels and ordering equipment and materials
Following appropriate health and safety procedures
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Science DepartmentThe Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a laboratory, science or school environment
Good knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills
A proactive and reliable approach
Comfortable working alongside both staff and students
Knowledge of health and safety within a laboratory environmentInterested?
