Are you an experienced DT Technician looking for a new opportunity within a secondary school?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a secondary school in Wirral who are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic DT Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical experience in a school, workshop or similar environment who enjoys supporting students and staff within a Design & Technology setting.

The Role:

Preparing materials, tools and equipment for practical lessons
Supporting teachers and students during DT lessons
Maintaining a safe, organised and well-equipped workshop
Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and stored correctly
Assisting with stock control and ordering materials
Supporting with the preparation and clearing away of practical activities
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all timesThe Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience within a DT, workshop or practical environment
Good knowledge of workshop tools, equipment and materials
Strong understanding of health and safety
Organised, reliable and proactive
Confident working alongside both teachers and students
Previous school experience is desirable but not essentialInterested?
