How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Planner | Exciting Career Opportunity

    We're looking for an ambitious Planner to join a busy and growing team, working alongside experienced Partners on a diverse range of exciting projects, from smaller schemes to major developments.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional looking to develop their career, gain direct client exposure and take ownership across a varied project portfolio.

    The Role

    You'll be involved in:

    Providing planning advice and developing planning strategies.
    Preparing and coordinating planning applications, appeals and representations.
    Drafting and reviewing high-quality planning reports.
    Working closely with clients, consultants, local authorities and internal teams.
    Attending client meetings and providing professional planning advice.
    Supporting business development, fee proposals and identifying new opportunities.
    Building strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.

    About You

    We're keen to hear from planners who have:

    RTPI and/or RICS (P&D) accreditation, or are close to achieving it.
    Around 2 years' post-qualification experience ideally.
    Strong planning knowledge and excellent report-writing skills.
    Confident client-facing, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
    A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach.
    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing planning team where you'll have genuine client exposure, varied project experience and clear scope for career progression
