Position 1 Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our client, a successful food manufacturing business based in North Norwich, who are looking for a motivated and ambitious Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified engineer looking to take their first step into a fast-paced manufacturing environment and build a long-term career.
The Role
Working alongside experienced engineers, you will support the maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of production equipment, including:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding
* Supporting production and reducing downtime
* Continuous improvement projects
* Working safely and following company procedures
* Developing your technical skills across modern manufacturing equipment
About You (Multi- skilled engineer)
* Recently completed an Engineering Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or equivalent
* A good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
* A genuine interest in FMCG, food manufacturing or industrial engineering
* Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A positive, proactive approach to their career

£35000.00 - £40000.00 per year
