A well-established legal firm in Cupar is seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a varied role and taking ownership of key administrative responsibilities within a professional office environment.
Working closely with the firm's Partners, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative processes. This is a standalone position that requires someone who is confident, reliable and able to manage a diverse workload independently.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and administering third-party contracts
Handling utilities and supplier administration
Updating and maintaining insurance documentation
Supporting banking and cash room processes
Carrying out AML (Anti-Money Laundering) administration and compliance checks
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Providing general administrative support to the Partners
Liaising confidently with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders by telephone and email
Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience within a legal administrative role, or a similar professional services environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders
The ability to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively
Experience within legal, medical or dental environments would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of AML procedures and compliance processes would be beneficial
