How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This role suits an experienced industry sales professional who enjoys getting out in front of customers, understands the products and knows how to grow revenue while protecting margin.

    What’s in it for you?

£45,000 to £50,000 basic salary, plus quarterly bonus.
Car allowance to support travel across your territory.
Monday to Friday working, with a 39 hour contract and your weekends free.
Five weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the flexibility to buy or sell two days.
    Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme.
    Healthcare and Life Assurance.
    Retail Discount Scheme.
Friends and Family Cashback on the products we manufacture.
    Paid volunteering time.
    Your role

Working with Branch Managers, Area Managers and the Sales Director, you’ll develop and deliver a sales plan for Bristol, Swindon and Cheltenham.

    Your focus will be to:

Win new business: identify prospects, build a pipeline and turn customer meetings into sales.
Grow existing accounts: understand customers’ needs, strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities for additional business.
Drive branch performance: create local growth plans with branch teams, using competitor knowledge to identify opportunities.
Deliver profitable sales: achieve sales and margin targets, manage expenses and work within agreed pricing and authorisation levels.
Plan your territory effectively: organise appointments and follow up leads to make the most of your time with customers.
Maintain commercial discipline: keep customer records, pricing and sales activity accurate, report to the Sales Director and work with colleagues to manage credit and debt.
Support sales and marketing activity: help turn company and branch initiatives into customer engagement and new business.
    What you’ll bring

Relevant industry experience, strong knowledge of uPVC windows and doors, and a proven track record of successful field sales development are essential.

    You’ll also need:

A commercial approach, with the drive to achieve sales growth and an understanding of profitability.
A consultative sales style, with the ability to build trust and connect easily with customers.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
The organisation to manage a large territory and maintain consistent follow up.
A collaborative approach to working with branch teams and colleagues.
You must live within the South West territory and be comfortable travelling across Bristol, Swindon, Cheltenham and the surrounding area.

You may currently be working as a Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Branch Sales Manager, Area Sales Representative or Area Manager within the industry.
