How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Opportunity

    Reporting to the Senior Software Developer, you'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, helping to design, develop, maintain and improve a range of in-house applications and web-based solutions.

    This role offers the chance to work with modern Microsoft technologies, contribute to strategic projects, and influence the future direction of application development within the business.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment
    Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications
    Write clean, well-documented and thoroughly tested code
    Enhance and support existing software solutions
    Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve application issues
    Create and maintain technical documentation
    Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for improvement
    Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions
    Contribute to development best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

    Technology Environment

    You'll have the opportunity to work with:

    C# and the .NET ecosystem

    About You

    We're looking for a passionate developer who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with colleagues and delivering quality software. 

    Essential Skills & Experience

    4+ years' experience in web and back-end software development
    Strong experience with .NET, C# and ASP.NET
    Experience with JavaScript, HTML and modern web development practices
    SQL Server development experience including T-SQL and stored procedures
    Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
    Knowledge of application architecture and software development best practices
    Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
    Excellent communication skills
    High attention to detail
    A proactive and self-motivated approachDesirable

    Experience with Vue.js
    Exposure to Microsoft Azure
    ERP integration experience, particularly Dynamics 365
    DevOps experience
