Electrical Estimator needed in Barbican, London – close to St Paul’s, Moorgate, Farringdon, Liverpool Street & Bank.
We’re currently recruiting for an Electrical Estimator to join an established electrical contractor working on commercial projects across London.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for their next move, with the company also open to considering Graduate and Junior Electrical Estimators looking to develop their career.
The Role
* Preparing detailed electrical estimates and tenders for commercial projects.
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work to produce accurate costings.
* Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and the wider project team throughout the tender process.
* Identifying commercial opportunities, risks and value engineering options.
About You
* Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within an electrical contracting or M&E environment.
* Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations and associated costs.
* Confident reading electrical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
* Good commercial awareness with strong attention to detail.
* Graduate / Junior Estimators with relevant electrical experience or qualifications will also be considered.
What's on Offer
* £70,000 salary for an experienced Electrical Estimator.
* £35,000–£40,000 for a Graduate / Junior Electrical Estimator.
