How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Construction Graduate

    UK & Europe Opportunities Site Based

    Are you a recent Electrical Engineering graduate looking to begin your career within the construction industry while working on major projects across the UK and Europe?

    Join an established international main contractor delivering technically complex projects worth over £100 million across the data centre, mission-critical and advanced manufacturing sectors. You will receive hands-on training from experienced electrical and construction professionals while gaining exposure to every stage of project delivery.

    This is a fully site-based position offering opportunities on projects throughout the UK and Europe. You will support the electrical construction team, coordinate subcontractors and help ensure installations are completed safely, accurately and in line with the programme.

    The company has a strong record of developing graduates into Electrical Project Engineers, Package Managers, Project Managers and senior leadership positions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ambitious, hardworking and open to travel.

    Your Role as an Electrical Construction Graduate Will Include:

    Supporting the delivery of electrical packages on major construction projects
    Assisting with the coordination of electrical subcontractors and site activities
    Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
    Undertaking structured technical training and progressing into more senior positions
    As an Electrical Construction Graduate, You Will Have:

    A degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
    An interest in electrical construction and project delivery
    A full driving licence
