Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Wigan. With the new academic year underway, we have regular opportunities available for individuals seeking flexible day-to-day and short-term supply work.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The Role:
Deliver pre-set work to students across a variety of subjects
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Support students in their learning and engagement
Gain experience in a range of secondary school settings
Flexible working patterns to suit your availability
Ideal Candidates Will:
Have experience working with young people in education, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or similar roles
Be confident managing groups of students
Have strong communication and organisational skills
Be adaptable, professional, and reliable
Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
