We’re looking for 2 experienced Multi-Trade Joiners / Multi-Skilled Operatives to carry out responsive repairs and refurbishment works across social housing properties.
We’re particularly interested in skilled joiners, but if your main trade is different and you’re confident carrying out a range of property maintenance works, we’d still like to hear from you.
The Role
You’ll work across kitchens, bathrooms and general property repairs, including:
* Kitchen units, worktops and sinks
* Plumbing adjustments and repairs
* Plastering and plaster repairs
* Wall tiling and floor screeding
* Vinyl flooring
* Baths, WCs, WHBs and shower/bath taps
* Internal doors, frames, skirting and architraves
* Joist and floorboard repairs
* Garden gates
* uPVC windows, doors, fascia and gutters
* Newel posts, banisters, spindles and rails
You don’t need experience in every area. We’re looking for practical, reliable multi-skilled operatives who can confidently complete a good range of these works to a high standard.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in joinery, property maintenance or a related trade
* Strong practical skills and attention to detail
* Social housing/property maintenance experience is highly desirable
* Comfortable working in both tenanted and void properties
* Professional approach when working in customers’ homes
* Clean driving licence
* Willingness to undergo a DBS check
* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
