How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Townhouse was created with a single goal: to disrupt and reinvent the global nail salon industry. We are the fastest growing beauty brand in Europe with 40+ salons globally, and we are driven by a passionate and disruptive team to achieve our mission. We’ve brought together a world-class team from a wide range of industries. As we continue to expand, we need brilliant people (like you!) to help bring the Townhouse brand to life across the world.

    Our values

    Here at Townhouse, we live by our three core values;

    -Details matter

    -Passionate in everything we do

    -Nice people

Townhouse was born out of the idea that ‘details matter’ – our customers strive for perfection in the details, and so do we. Our passion fuels our work and drives constant innovation. Finally, we pride ourselves on finding nice, kind-hearted people to join our mission to revolutionise the industry.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll take ownership of recruitment across our Support Centre and Salons, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their teams and hire the best talent. You'll be predominantly recruiting for our Support Centre and will flex into Salon recruitment, depending on wherever hiring demand across the business is highest.

You'll own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and advertising through to offer and onboarding, while acting as a guardian of our Townhouse values throughout the candidate journey. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to employer branding, process improvement and wider talent initiatives as we continue to grow our global business.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead Permanent and Temporary recruitment for our Support Centre.
    • Run the first-stage cultural fit interview for every Support Centre hire, ensuring candidates align with the Townhouse values before progressing further.
    • Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and advertising through to offer and onboarding.
    • Take job briefs, create engaging job adverts and write clear, compelling job descriptions.
    • Be creative and proactive in candidate sourcing, building strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
    • Keep candidate records accurate and up to date in the ATS, supporting pre-employment checks and onboarding coordination as needed.
    • Contribute to process improvement, employer branding and wider talent initiatives during quieter recruitment periods.
    • Support initiatives that enhance candidate experience and enable Townhouse's continued global expansion.
    • Recruit for Salon teams during busy periods, flexing your focus according to where hiring demand is highest.
    • When recruiting for Salons, hit weekly hours targets and KPIs while keeping vacancy rates as close to zero as possible.

    ABOUT YOU

    • Proven experience in an in-house multi-site environment or agency recruitment.
    • A strong track record of owning and hitting weekly/monthly targets and KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience flexing your recruitment focus across multiple business areas, such as salons and central teams, in response to changing business demand.
    • Confident managing the full candidate journey, from sourcing and screening through to offer, with a genuine candidate-focused approach.
    • Highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise effectively across a varied and constantly changing workload.
    • A data-driven mindset, with experience using recruitment metrics and AI to optimise processes and analyse performance.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to support and guide hiring managers.
    • Adaptable, with a growth mindset and an appetite to develop within a fast-scaling global business.

    LOCATION

This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Support Centre in Central London, and we offer a hybrid working model, aligned with role requirements.
