ASEC Sunderland is seeking a motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed contract. The successful candidate will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various positions within our organization. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers to meet the recruitment needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions that reflect the requirements of each role.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from application to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Collaborate with the HR team to improve and streamline recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Provide timely reports on recruitment metrics and analyse data to drive improvements in sourcing and hiring practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and recommend strategies to enhance our employer brand.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a corporate or fast paced environment.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in using ATS and other recruitment tools.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
