How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Securities Operations Technology Analyst, your expertise will shine through in the following areas:

    Securities Operations Analysis:

    Analyse operational workflows across Settlements, Asset Servicing, Corporate Actions, and Cash Management functions.
    Support the investigation and automation of settlement exceptions and operational issues.
    Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market practises and settlement lifecyclesSSI, PSET & Market Infrastructure Management:

    Facilitate automation for the management of Settlement Instructions across business teams.
    Conduct assessments of PSET requirements and settlement routing.
    Review and enhance the quality of settlement instructions for standardisation.Vendor & Platform Analysis:

    Collaborate with vendors to explore functionality enhancements and AI capabilities.
    Document business requirements and perform gap analysis between current and target-state operating models.Requirements & Testing:

    Gather and document business and operational requirements.
    Create process maps and support testing activities, ensuring operational readiness.Risk & Control Management:

    Conduct operational risk assessments and identify process vulnerabilities.
    Ensure all solutions align with internal governance requirements.

    Core Deliverables:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    Creating current and future-state process maps.
    Conducting settlement exception analysis and root cause investigations.
    Implementing automated Settlement Instruction processing.
    Reporting on operational performance metrics and risk management.

    Knowledge & Experience:

    Essential:

    Financial Services background is a must
    Comprehensive experience in securities operations covering post-trade processing.
    Strong understanding of settlement lifecycles and operational controls.
    Expertise in PSET and SSI governance processes.Desirable:

    Familiarity with AI, automation technologies, and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot or Power Platform.
    Experience in data analysis and operational reporting.Success Measures:

    The success of the selected candidate will be measured through:

    Implementation of automation in Settlement Instruction processing.
    Improvement in SSI data quality and governance.
    Reduction in settlement exceptions and operational processing risks.
