How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Onsite in London

We are partnering with a leading travel organisation who are looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused Project Management Practice Lead to lead a small team of Project Managers and drive a varied portfolio of technology and operational change.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people but staying close to delivery. You'll take ownership of a PM community of six, developing the team, improving ways of working and ensuring a busy portfolio of BAU and operational projects is delivered effectively.

The portfolio is broad, spanning applications, infrastructure and workplace technology. Projects could include new site and acquisition mobilisations, network and infrastructure deployment, technology lifecycle programmes and real estate-related technology change.

Working as part of the wider technology leadership team, you'll help assess new technology initiatives and turn them into practical, deliverable solutions across a complex multi-business environment.

We're looking for a pragmatic, no-nonsense leader who can bring clarity, structure and momentum. You'll be confident working with a range of stakeholders, comfortable navigating different priorities and able to challenge constructively when needed.

This role will suit someone with:

Experience leading and developing Project Managers.
A strong background delivering technology, infrastructure or operational change.
Experience managing multiple concurrent BAU and project initiatives.
    A hands-on, action-oriented approach to delivery.
    Strong stakeholder management skills.
The ability to improve delivery standards without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
A genuine passion for developing people and building a positive, high-performing team culture. The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in organisations with a large, operationally focused workforce, such as those in retail, travel, hospitality, logistics or other multi-site environments
