How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with wiring, electrical assemblies and prototype systems within a fast-paced engineering environment.

    The Electrical Technician will:

Build, install and modify HV and LV electrical systems.
Manufacture, repair and modify wiring looms and harnesses.
Crimp and terminate electrical connectors and cables.
Read and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Support the installation of batteries, inverters, contactors, chargers and associated electrical systems.
Carry out electrical testing, fault-finding and commissioning activities.
Support prototype builds and development programmes.
Work closely with engineers to identify and resolve build and integration issues.
    The Electrical Technician will have:

Strong practical electrical assembly and fault-finding experience.
Experience building, modifying or repairing wiring looms and harnesses.
Experience with crimping, connectors and electrical assembly techniques.
The ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience using electrical test and diagnostic equipment.
    A hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.
Experience within EV, battery, automotive, motorsport or prototype vehicle environments would be advantageous.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge electrification technologies, supporting products from early development through to testing and validation. If you enjoy practical engineering, thrive in a workshop environment and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you
