Assembly Operative

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an enthusiastic and reliable Assembly Operative to join their growing production team based in Appleby Magna. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer that supplies products into the high-performance and motorsport sectors, where quality, precision, and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything they do. 

Whether you have previous assembly experience or are looking to develop your skills within manufacturing, full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products. 

The RoleAs an Assembly Operative, you'll be responsible for assembling specialist cable sets using hand tools, following production specifications, and ensuring every product meets exceptional quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Assembly of specialist cable and component sets

Using hand tools to complete assembly tasks

Quality checking products throughout the manufacturing process

Following production instructions and specifications

Meeting production targets while maintaining high standards

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area

Preparing finished products for dispatch and presentation to customers 

What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will be:

✔ Hardworking and dependable

✔ Highly focused with excellent attention to detail

✔ Comfortable using hand tools

✔ Able to work accurately and consistently

✔ Possess good hand-eye coordination

✔ Previous assembly or production experience would be advantageous, but not essential

✔ Keen to learn and develop new skills within manufacturing
