How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Care Coordinator – Domiciliary Care
    Care Coordinator | Bournemouth | Monday–Friday | Up to £32,000 | 5.6 weeks holiday | Paid birthday off
A Care Coordinator role where you can make a real difference.
One Choice Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded domiciliary care provider in Bournemouth, supporting adults with complex healthcare needs to live safely and independently in their own homes.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Coordinator to join a supportive and growing organisation that genuinely values quality, dignity, compassion and its people.
If you’re organised, confident and passionate about delivering excellent care — and you know how to keep a busy care service running smoothly — we’d love to hear from you.
    About the Care Coordinator Role
As a Care Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring clients receive safe, consistent and high-quality care.
Working closely with the Registered Manager, clinical team, care professionals, clients, families and healthcare professionals, you’ll coordinate care packages, manage staff rotas and respond quickly when circumstances change.
You’ll be based in the office and no two days will be the same. You’ll be trusted to use your judgement, solve problems and make sure the right support is in place for clients and care professionals.
    Your responsibilities will include:
    * Coordinating care packages for adults with complex healthcare needs.
    * Creating and managing staff rotas to ensure safe and consistent care.
    * Matching care professionals to clients to support continuity of care.
    * Liaising with clients, families, case managers, social workers and NHS professionals.
    * Supporting care professionals with day-to-day guidance and problem-solving.
    * Monitoring care delivery and maintaining high standards of care.
    * Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements.
    * Reviewing and updating care plans as clients’ needs change.
    * Supporting the Registered Manager with the smooth running of the service.
    * Participating in the on-call rota.
    What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Care Coordinator who is more than organised — you’ll be someone who genuinely cares about getting things right.
    You’ll ideally have:
    * At least 2 years’ experience in care coordination within domiciliary/home care.
    * A strong understanding of CQC compliance and safeguarding.
    * Experience managing care rotas and coordinating care packages.
    * Experience using electronic care planning and rostering systems.
    * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    * The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
    * A proactive, dependable and solution-focused approach.
    * Experience supporting clients with complex healthcare needs.
    Essential Requirements
    * 2+ years’ domiciliary/home care coordination experience.
    * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
    * Right to work in the UK.
    * Good knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
    * NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
    Why Join?
This is an opportunity to join an employer that understands that great care starts with great people.
You’ll be joining a supportive team where your experience is valued, your development is encouraged and the work you do has a direct impact on the lives of clients and their families.
    You’ll receive:
    -Up to £32,000 per year
    - Monday to Friday working
    - Paid day off on your birthday
    - 5.6 weeks’ annual leave per year
    - Paid training and ongoing development
    - Career progression opportunities
    - Supportive management team
    - Company pension
    - Employee Assistance Programme
    - Recognition and reward schemes
    - Employee discount
    - Referral programme
    - Flexible working arrangements
    Ready for your next step?
If you’re an experienced Care Coordinator looking for a role where you can use your skills, take responsibility and make a genuine difference, apply today.
We’d love to hear from you.
Please note: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this position
