Location: London – 3 days per week on site
Contract: 6 months

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Procurement Operations Support professional to join a large-scale transformation programme within a public sector organisation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Oracle Procurement / PPM knowledge who enjoys solving operational issues, supporting users and suppliers, and improving the way systems and processes work.

The Role

You will provide first-line operational support for Oracle Procurement processes, helping colleagues and suppliers resolve queries, managing workflow activities and ensuring requests are progressed accurately and efficiently.

Working within a defined support model, you will investigate issues, review system and process documentation, and engage with subject matter experts where required. You will also play an important role in improving knowledge across the team by creating clear process maps, guidance materials and knowledge articles.

The role will suit someone who is comfortable working independently, has excellent attention to detail and can communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide first-line support for Oracle Procurement / PPM processes.

* Respond to colleague and supplier queries and manage incidents through to resolution.

* Manage and track workflow activities in line with agreed procedures.

* Investigate operational issues and escalate appropriately.

* Review business process and system documentation, identifying gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.

* Translate complex end-to-end processes into clear workflows, guidance and knowledge articles.

* Support knowledge transfer and capability-building activities.

* Contribute to testing, process improvement and service enhancement.

* Maintain data accuracy, process compliance and operational reliability.

* Deliver a strong customer service experience across the support function.

About You

You will have experience working in an Oracle Procurement support, service delivery or business operations environment, with a good understanding of procurement processes and the ability to resolve queries and operational issues effectively.

Essential experience:

* Knowledge of Oracle Procurement / PPM and associated procurement processes.

* Experience supporting operational workflows, query resolution and ticket management.

* Strong process mapping and documentation skills.

* Ability to analyse business processes and system documentation.

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

* Experience in a support, service delivery or business operations environment.

Desirable:

* Knowledge of PA23.

* Previous public sector experience.
