Carpenter / Joiner Central London

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to work on a variety of construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects across Central London.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable carpenter who is confident working independently, as well as alongside other trades and site teams. The role will involve a variety of first and second fix carpentry, installation, repairs and finishing works.

Key Responsibilities

First and second fix carpentry
Studwork, partitioning and timber framing
Hanging and fitting doors
Installing door frames, linings and architraves
Fitting skirting boards, mouldings and trims
Installing ironmongery
General joinery and finishing works
Timber fixtures, fittings and installations
Boxing-in and general carpentry alterations
Repairs, adjustments and remedial works
Making-good and snagging
Installing access panels and service openings
Carrying out general carpentry modifications as required
Reading and working from drawings and site instructions
Working closely with site management and other trades
Maintaining a clean and safe working environmentAbout You

The successful candidate will have solid experience as a Carpenter or Joiner, ideally within construction, refurbishment or fit-out environments.

You should be:

Skilled in both first and second fix carpentry
Confident using a range of hand and power tools
Able to read drawings and follow site instructions
Experienced working on construction or refurbishment sites
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Professional in your approach
Flexible and willing to assist with other associated tasks when required
Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety
CSCS card essential.
Relevant carpentry qualifications and refurbishment or fit-out experience are desirable.
