Our client, based in Basildon, is looking for an ambitious and driven Trainee Business Development Manager to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in Vehicle Contract Hire and Leasing. You don't necessarily need previous experience in the industry – they're far more interested in the person, their attitude and their ambition to progress.
You'll receive approximately 9–12 months of structured training to develop your knowledge and skills before progressing towards a full Business Development position.
You'll also have the opportunity to attend networking events and client visits alongside experienced members of the team, giving you valuable exposure to relationship building, networking and business development from day one.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Learn how to identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Support the team with sales, prospecting and business development activity.
* Assist with preparing, submitting and following up quotations.
* Communicate with customers professionally via telephone, email and face-to-face.
* Attend networking events alongside experienced members of the team.
* Attend client meetings and visits to develop your understanding of relationship management.
* Shadow experienced Business Development professionals to learn effective sales and networking techniques.
* Support day-to-day sales and marketing activity.
* Develop your understanding of the Leasing and Business Development industry.
* Work towards progressing from a Trainee position into a fully-fledged Business Development role.
