A great opportunity for an Engineering Account Manager to join a big name in the commercial maintenance sector. With a consistent stream of contract awards we are looking for an Account Manager who is motivated and ambitious to achieve the most out of their career.
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of the engineering maintenance contract on a site by Waterloo, London, managing the P&L and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are exceeded across PPM and reactive works from a team of engineers. Additionally, you will be responsible for quoting works, managing the onsite team, and demonstrating excellent stakeholder management.

Key duties & Responsibilities
High level and successful delivery of the contract, overseeing all planned preventative, reactive and statutory maintenance activities.
Managing an engineering team including Contract Managers, Engineers, Helpdesk and Contract Support.
Act as the senior client-facing contact, developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Manage contract budgets, financial performance and commercial reporting.
Running Profit and Loss (P&L)
Managing KPI and SLA's.
Technically supporting both the client and the engineering team
Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site
Attending client meetings
Dealing with client's requirements including additional projects / works
Manage subcontractors and supplier performance.
Oversee projects, remedial works, life cycle replacements and asset improvements.
Winning and managing additional business opportunities
Responsible for the permit system.
Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on the contract.
Recruitment
Develop staff, annual appraisals etc
Manage staff absenteeism and be responsible for disciplinary issues
Requirements
Technically qualified - Apprenticeship / City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Installations / Mechanical Engineering / Air Conditioning / HVAC
Building Services Maintenance / Facilities Management background
Experience in managing multiple clients, contracts and maintenance teams
Leadership and people management skills, to drive high standards to ensure contract delivery across the team
Driven and motivated
Computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
P&L and WIP management experience
Stakeholder management skills.
