Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a stable role within a critical healthcare environment?
We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join a well-established Building Services team responsible for the maintenance, repair and compliance of a large acute healthcare estate in the Mansfield area.

The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across a wide range of electrical systems and associated building services equipment.
Working within a live hospital environment, you will ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with current regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and plant.
Undertake inspection, testing and certification of fixed and portable electrical equipment.
Ensure compliance with the latest electrical wiring regulations.
Maintain and fault-find on:
Electrical distribution systems
Emergency power and UPS systems
Lighting and power installations
Fire alarm systems
Nurse call and communication systems
Motors and control equipment
Building Management Systems (BMS)
HVAC-related electrical equipment
Pumps, AHUs and associated controls
Complete all maintenance records and documentation accurately.
Update works and task completion through CAFM systems.
Support the delivery of statutory compliance requirements across the estate.About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Electrical Engineer/Electrician with experience in maintenance environments and a strong understanding of electrical compliance requirements.
Requirements
Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
Inspection and Testing qualification desirable.
Experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial, industrial or critical environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Good IT and administration skills for completing work records and CAFM tasks.Desirable
Previous experience working within healthcare or hospital environments is desirable but not essential
