Experienced Plasterer Wanted

A growing construction company based in Edinburgh is looking for an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join its team on a full-time, Contract 

This is a great opportunity for a skilled plasterer looking for stable, long-term work with a professional and expanding construction business.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of plastering and finishing works across domestic and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out plastering, rendering and finishing works to a high standard.
Prepare surfaces prior to plastering and ensure they are clean and suitable for application.
Apply plaster, skim and other finishing materials accurately and efficiently.
Repair and patch existing plasterwork where required.
Ensure all work is completed to a high-quality standard.
Work safely and in accordance with company and site procedures.
Maintain a clean and organised working area.
Work effectively as part of a wider construction team.
Complete projects within agreed timescales.
Communicate professionally with supervisors, colleagues, clients and other trades.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience working as a Plasterer is essential.
Strong knowledge of plastering and finishing techniques.
Ability to produce a consistently high standard of workmanship.
Good understanding of construction site health and safety requirements.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail.
Professional approach when working on client and construction sites.
Full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous.
