Destination Education is currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Walthamstow and the surrounding areas, and we are expecting a variety of Supply Primary School Teacher opportunities to become available.
Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for flexibility, an ECT looking to build confidence and classroom experience, or a teacher who is considering a change of direction, supply teaching can be a fantastic way to find the right opportunity for you.
We are expecting positions across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, with opportunities ranging from day-to-day supply through to longer-term placements. Supply can also be a great way to get your foot in the door at a school. If you find a school that feels like the right fit, a supply placement can potentially lead to a full-time, long-term, or permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Follow lesson plans and school policies effectively.
Build positive relationships with pupils and maintain their engagement throughout the day.
Manage behaviour confidently and consistently.
Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups, and classroom environments.
Provide clear feedback to school staff following each placement.The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or equivalent.
Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Is reliable, adaptable, and confident working across different year groups.
Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching.
Is interested in day-to-day, short-term, or longer-term supply opportunities.What Destination Education Offers
