How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Senior Fleet Coordinator

    Leatherhead

    Permanent

    The Fleet & Environmental Services Manager is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the company's commercial vehicle fleet and environmental services operations. This role ensures operational compliance, efficient maintenance, and smooth management of transport and environmental service activities, supporting the strategic leadership provided by the Head of Fleet & Environmental Services.

    Manage a large commercial vehicle fleet, ensuring full compliance with all statutory requirements including Servicing, MOTs, Road Tax, and fuel card accounting.

    Deliver the company's fleet induction programme for all new starters, ensuring comprehensive understanding of vehicle use, compliance, and safety.

    Manage the leavers process in relation to the fleet, ensuring prompt and proper return of all company vehicles and equipment.

    Manage all motor insurance claims, liaising with all parties.

    Conduct investigations into any road traffic incidents involving company vehicles.

    Manage vehicle maintenance and accident repairs, collaborating with insurance companies and repair contractors to ensure cost-effective and timely resolution.

    Compile monthly fuel and mileage reports and monitor private mileage usage alongside Inner London Congestion Charge compliance.

    Organise and coordinate driver training courses and liaise with training bodies such as RoSPA.

    Monitor and act on transport-related complaints swiftly and in accordance with company policies.

    Manage the Fleet & Environmental Services Coordinator, including pay, timekeeping, holidays, and welfare.

    Maintain and regularly review transport procedures and policies, drafting new ones as necessary to maintain operational effectiveness.

    Process all vehicle-related fines within prescribed timescales to prevent escalation and maintain accurate records.

    Utilise the company telematics system to monitor driver behaviour, identify repeated poor driving practices, and recommend timely interventions to improve safety and reduce risk
