Duties as English Teacher:
Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
Promote a love of reading, writing, and communication
Support students in achieving strong examination outcomes
Contribute to the wider school community and department initiativesIdeal English Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities
Strong communication and organisational skills
