Cover People are expanding our network of Secondary Teachers available for day-to-day and short-term supply assignments across Rochdale.

We work with a variety of secondary schools, meaning there are opportunities to teach in different environments and gain valuable experience without committing to a permanent position.
We're looking for teachers who can confidently take charge of a classroom, follow the school's expectations and provide students with a consistent and positive learning experience.

The Role
Assignments may involve:
Taking classes across KS3 and KS4
Delivering lessons using plans and resources supplied by the school
Keeping pupils engaged and focused throughout the lesson
Maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour
Following individual school procedures and policies
Establishing positive working relationships with pupils and staff
Adjusting quickly to different classrooms and school environments
Providing feedback to the school following a lesson where required
What You'll Need
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within a secondary school
Good knowledge of your subject area
Confident classroom management
The ability to adapt quickly and work independently
A reliable and professional approach
Strong communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people
