Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking for your next opportunity?
We’re working with a growing and forward-thinking fire and security business that is looking for a Service & Installation Engineer to join their team across the North West.
This is a varied role covering the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of a range of fire and security systems.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:
* Installing, commissioning and servicing Fire & Security systems
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
* Attending emergency callouts when required
* Fault finding and diagnosing system issues
* Working from drawings and job specifications
* Completing electronic job sheets and reports
* Liaising with the Helpdesk and wider engineering team
* Identifying potential upgrade opportunities
* Supporting colleagues with technical advice
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
* 2–5+ years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry
* Experience with Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Knowledge of relevant BS & EN standards
* Experience with systems such as Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Morley or similar
* Good IT and communication skills
* A professional, organised and customer-focused approach
* Full UK driving licence
