How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Senior Marketing Manager - Brand, Media & Customer
    Yorkshire | Hybrid | Up to £67,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits
A leading multichannel retailer is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager - Brand, Media & Customer to take a strategic lead across the marketing activity for one of its key consumer brands.
This is a high-impact role with significant ownership of ATL media strategy, planning, buying and investment, alongside responsibility for integrated brand campaigns, CRM, customer journeys and strategic partnerships. The successful individual will play a key role in ensuring that media, brand and customer activity work together to drive both brand growth and commercial performance.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, providing strategic direction while leading and developing specialist media and CRM teams.
Alongside media, you will provide strategic leadership across CRM and customer lifecycle marketing, ensuring customer communications, journeys and first-party data are effectively integrated into the wider brand strategy.
You will also identify and develop external partnerships that can strengthen the brand and support key commercial priorities, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Develop and protect the brand through integrated marketing strategies designed to deliver against agreed commercial, customer and brand KPIs.
    * Take a big-picture view of campaign direction, ensuring channels work cohesively and that tactical decisions support the wider marketing strategy.
    * Own the brand's media strategy, planning, buying and measurement, balancing proven channels with a test-and-learn approach to identify new opportunities.
    * Manage and develop the relationship with the media team, driving innovation, improved effectiveness and strong commercial returns from significant media investment.
    * Ensure media activity is effectively integrated with wider brand, campaign and customer activity.
    * Build strong relationships across the business to enable collaborative and coordinated decision-making across marketing, trading, customer, data and commercial teams.
    * Work closely with the marketing leadership team and counterparts across the wider brand portfolio to ensure brands operate with both cohesion and clear differentiation.
    * Identify and develop high-value external partnerships that support brand priorities, customer engagement and commercial objectives.
    * Provide strategic leadership across CRM and customer lifecycle marketing, ensuring customer communications and journeys support the wider brand and commercial strategy.
    * Work closely with CRM specialists and platform owners to maximise the capabilities of existing technology and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement.
    * Partner with internal data teams to bring first-party data, customer insight and behavioural understanding into marketing activity and customer journeys.
    * Ensure customer communications are joined up across the funnel and throughout the wider customer lifecycle.
    * Lead, support and develop the media and CRM teams, creating a high-performing, collaborative and commercially focused environment.
    * Monitor campaign and channel performance, using insight and data to continually improve marketing effectiveness.
    * Act as a senior voice within the wider marketing function, influencing strategy and bringing a strong customer and commercial perspective to decision-making.
    What We're Looking For
The ideal Senior Marketing Manager - Brand, Media & Customer will bring:
    * Significant experience in ATL media planning, buying and strategy, ideally gained within a large-scale retail, consumer or multichannel environment.
    * A proven track record of managing significant media budgets, working with teams and making informed decisions around channel mix, investment and effectiveness.
    * Strong experience developing and adapting media strategies to deliver against both brand and commercial objectives.
    * A strong understanding of integrated marketing and how media, brand, CRM and customer activity work together across the customer journey.
    * Experience working across CRM, customer journeys and lifecycle marketing, with a good understanding of how customer data and personalised communications can support acquisition, retention and customer value.
    * Experience leading, coaching and developing teams, ideally across specialist marketing disciplines.
    * Previous experience within multichannel, big-ticket or high-consideration retail would be highly desirable.
    * Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand the impact of marketing investment on customer and business performance.
    * Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders across multiple functions and levels, both internally and externally.
    * Experience managing and influencing senior team and external partner relationships.
    * A data-led approach, with the ability to use customer insight and performance data to inform strategic decisions.
    * Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
    * The confidence and credibility to challenge existing thinking, identify new opportunities and influence decision-making at senior level.
This is a broad senior marketing role offering genuine ownership, significant media investment and the opportunity to lead specialist teams while working closely with senior stakeholders across a major consumer-facing retail business.
If you're an experienced retail marketer who understands media, brand and the customer journey - and you're looking for a role where you can influence the bigger picture rather than own just one channel - this could be an excellent next step.
