How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Psychology Graduate - Mental Health Support

    A new opportunity for a new position has recently become available in an amazing school in Oxford.

    This is a fantastic, supportive school who focus on inclusivity and want to ensure that they are providing

    They cater for students between the ages of 7 and 18, who have all been identified as struggling with social, emotional and mental health needs. The students at this school also have barriers to their learning such as specific learning needs, ADHD ad behavioural needs. They need support to ensure that they are able to access their education and learning in the same way as their mainstream peers.

    The school are looking for someone who can help with the below:

    Create a safe, fun and engaging learning environment
    Encourage students to participate, focus on and engage in their learning
    Follow their intervention plans while also making use of any restorative practices and therapeutic techniques that have been adopted to ensure a positive experience at school
    Promote healthy coping strategies and support conflict resolution
    Support in tracking and relaying feedback to the class teacher and other multi-disciplinary professionals that support the students

    The ideal mental health support assistant will be someone who is:

    Passionate
    Has a positive attitude
    Is keen to make a difference and support vulnerable students
    Has a good understanding of the importance of safeguarding when working with vulnerable children
    Has a genuine passion for supporting learning and mental health needs
    Hold an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
