About the Role
An ambitious and supportive primary school in Aston Clinton is seeking a committed KS2 Teacher to join their team from November 2026. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils’ individual needs are met
Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using data effectively to inform future planning and targeted support
Encourage pupils to think critically, develop problem-solving skills, and engage confidently with their learning
Collaborate closely with colleagues to share best practise and contribute to whole-school development
Build effective partnerships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing
Participate actively in staff meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development opportunities
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching KS2
Comprehensive understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching and assessment strategies
Commitment to supporting pupils in becoming motivated, independent learners
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Reflective, proactive and enthusiastic about continuous professional development
