Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for an expanding Electronics manufacturer based in Histon now seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer to help deliver key projects for clients across a range of applications. You will be working as part of an experienced team to develop a range of bespoke products.
The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer ideally with experience working within distributed systems, networking products or similar. This is for a Greenfield project so you will get the chance to see a product through from design to manufacture.
This is a Embedded Linux Engineer job focusing primarily on Linux Kernel Drivers as well as Userspace Linux. Due to the nature of the work this is a hybrid role.
Key Skills:
* 5+ commercial Embedded Linux or C++ experience targeting Embedded devices.
* Good commercial experience working on SoC devices or products built with latency in mind..
* Previous experience working as part of a team
* Any interest in newer programming languages is highly desirable but not essential
* Good experience working on networking products, wireless systems or similar
