We need a hands-on Data and Digital Solutions Lead who can turn complex engineering or operational problems into practical, working solutions.
The role
Shape and deliver data and digital solutions from concept through to implementation
Translate unclear requirements into robust technical designs
Build solutions using Python, cloud and modern data technologies
Apply AI, machine learning and automation to operational challenges
Support digital-twin, data-platform and engineering-application development
Lead technical delivery and engage confidently with senior stakeholders
Ensure solutions meet strict defence security and governance requirementsWhat we need
Strong data, digital or solution-architecture experience
Hands-on Python and data engineering capability
Experience with AI, machine learning, automation or digital twins
Background in engineering, infrastructure, defence or another complex regulated environment
Proven ability to take loosely defined problems through to working solutions
Strong technical leadership and stakeholder-management skills
Immediately available or on very short notice
Able to work regularly on-site in the South WestEssential security requirements
Due to the programme's security restrictions, applicants must:
Be a sole British passport holder
Be eligible to obtain high-level UK security clearance
