English Teacher - Inspire a Love of Literature and Language
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and help them develop a lifelong appreciation for English Language and Literature.
The successful candidate will join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and challenging lessons that enable students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and participation.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Support the wider life of the school through pastoral responsibilities and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
Possess strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
Be committed to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all students.
Have a proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
