How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As an Electrical Circuit Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, validation and troubleshooting of machine electrical circuits and associated components, ensuring robust, reliable and compliant electrical system performance throughout the product lifecycle.

    Electrical Circuit Engineer Role:

    * Design and develop machine electrical circuits, including power distribution, signal routing and protection strategies.

    * Create and maintain circuit schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering documentation.

    * Define and validate fusing strategies, load balancing and wire sizing calculations.

    * Perform voltage drop analysis and circuit integrity assessments.

    * Develop and release electrical components and associated drawings.

    * Support component selection and integration including sensors, displays, switches, lighting, HVAC controls and ECUs.

    * Investigate and resolve electrical system issues using structured problem-solving techniques.

    * Carry out diagnostic activities using DVMs, oscilloscopes, current clamps and CAN analysis tools.

    * Support harness manufacture, modification and repair during development and validation.

    * Produce technical reports supporting investigations, validation and compliance activities.

    Electrical Circuit Engineer Requirements:

    Essential:

    * Circuit logic design.

    * Electrical protection and fusing strategies.

    * Wire sizing and voltage drop analysis.

    * CAN network design and diagnostics.

    * Circuit fault finding including short circuits, open circuits, back feeds and grounding issues.

    * Schematic and wiring diagram creation.

    * Component specification and development.

    * 8D and root cause problem solving.

    * Use of oscilloscopes, DVMs and CAN tools.

    * Analytical and methodical

    * Hands-on engineering approach

    * Strong attention to detail

    * Effective communicator

    * Able to manage multiple priorities

    Preferred:

    * Off-highway, agricultural, construction or automotive electrical systems.

    * Knowledge of powertrain, hydraulic and braking systems.

    * Hands-on machine and harness development experience.

    * Ability to communicate technical findings to stakeholders.
