How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Data Architect, Enterprise OT Asset Data Products
    Location: London (hybrid)

    Duration: 6 months +

    Umbrella only

If you're passionate about making complex operational data genuinely usable-trusted, standardised and governed-this is a role where your architecture decisions directly enable condition monitoring, maintenance planning and smarter operational insight. Our Client is hiring a Data Architect on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months.

    What you'll be doing:
    * Define the target data architecture for enterprise OT asset data products, including logical/conceptual models and canonical structures
    * Ensure electricity transmission asset data is structured, contextualised and aligned to the Enterprise Data Model-so it's reusable across the organisation
    * Create clear standards for data products (metadata, schema definitions, quality rules, lineage, refresh requirements, ownership, stewardship and version control)
    * Develop modelling and normalisation patterns for time-series, event, alarm, measurement and file-based data-while preserving traceability across sources
    * Work closely with initiatives across IoT, intelligent substations, SCADA replacement, enterprise asset management and analytics platforms to align delivery with governance

    What you'll bring:
    * Strong enterprise data architecture experience, including conceptual, logical and canonical data modelling
    * Proven capability in metadata, lineage management, source-to-target mapping and data quality
    * Experience designing reusable data products with standards and governance frameworks
    * Ability to translate fragmented OT source structures into business-meaningful, consistent models
    * Confidence collaborating across architecture, engineering, operations and data teams-communicating clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
    * Comfort operating in ambiguity, shaping practical solutions and challenging constructively to drive consistency

Ready to turn fragmented OT and asset data into trusted products that enable real operational impact? Apply now to be considered.
