Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Milton Keynes. As a Level 1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
Encourage positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing.
Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
Support students with additional learning needs when required.
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A passion for working with children and young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
Experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work, or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
A willingness to learn and develop within an educational environment.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
