We are seeking a professional and vigilant Control Room Operator to support the safety and security of our estate through effective monitoring and incident management.
The Role
As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, managing access control, responding to security incidents, and maintaining accurate records. Working as part of a dedicated security team, you will help ensure the safety of people, property, and assets while delivering an efficient and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CCTV systems to maintain the security of the estate and respond appropriately to security breaches.
Accurately record and report all incidents in accordance with established procedures.
Manage the issue and return of security keys, access cards, and visitor passes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and security protocols.
Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to deliver an efficient security service.
Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence as required.
Undertake any other duties requested by management within the scope of the role.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a security control room or similar security environment.
Experience monitoring and operating CCTV surveillance systems.
Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
Highly computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Professional, reliable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
