How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Bodyshop Technician

    Are you an experienced Panel Beater looking for your next opportunity with a well-established Accident Repair Centre?

    We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Bodyshop Technician to join a busy and professional repair centre in the Liverpool area.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking for long-term job security, excellent benefits and a Monday-to-Friday working week.

    🔧 The Role – Panel Beater

    As a Panel Beater, you’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality structural and cosmetic repairs to a variety of vehicles, ensuring every vehicle leaves the bodyshop repaired to the highest possible standard.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Operating body alignment jigs and measuring equipment
    Panel straightening, shaping and filling
    Removing and replacing damaged panels
    Welding and bonding vehicle structures
    Removing and replacing complete body shells where required
    Carrying out structural repairs in line with manufacturer repair methods
    Identifying additional parts and repairs required
    Maintaining an accurate list of parts needed
    Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard 

    👨‍🔧 What We’re Looking For

    We’re looking for an experienced Panel Beater who takes pride in their workmanship and can work efficiently in a busy accident repair environment.

    You should have:

    Previous experience working as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician
    Time-served experience and/or a relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualification
    Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair methods
    A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
    The ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets
    ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
