Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of welcoming secondary schools across the Milton Keynes area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task while delivering pre-set work.
The Role:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently.
Ensure students remain focused and complete the work set.
Provide support and guidance where required.
Uphold school policies and maintain a positive learning environment.
Work flexibly across different schools and year groups.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, tutoring, mentoring, etc.).
Be confident managing groups of students.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be adaptable, resilient, and proactive.
Hold a degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
Have a passion for supporting young people's education and development.
