We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a major MEP contractor for an experienced MEP QA Manager to join a hyperscale Data Centre project based in East London. The MEP package value is approximately £70 million, with a lengthy project duration offering long-term stability and progression for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a high-profile scheme with one of the industry's most respected contractors, known for their quality delivery across sectors such as data centres, commercial, healthcare, residential, and education.
The Role: As MEP QA Manager, you will:
* Develop and manage the Project Quality Plan in line with ISO 9001
* Oversee QA processes across the site, ensuring full compliance with company and regulatory standards
* Lead internal audits and manage third-party audit activity
* Work closely with engineering, delivery, and commissioning teams to embed a culture of quality
* Report on QA performance and drive continual improvement across all MEP phases
* Provide mentoring and support to site-based QA reps and project engineers
* Act as the QA lead across the lifecycle of the project, from pre-con to handover
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience as a QA Manager or Senior QA Engineer within the MEP/building services sector
* Strong understanding of quality management systems, particularly ISO 9001
* Previous experience working on large-scale commercial projects (ideally £20m+ MEP)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Services, Engineering, or related field)
* Ability and willingness to travel across sites when required
