To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
Have previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse environment.
Be available to work Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern:
6:00am-4:00pm
11:00am-9:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Complete all consignment paperwork accurately and within the required timescales.
Carry out daily and weekly safety checks on manual handling equipment and work areas, completing all relevant paperwork and reporting any issues to the Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
Maintain high standards of general housekeeping, ensuring the workplace remains clean, tidy and organised.
Operate safely and in accordance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
Load and unload pallets from various types of vehicles.
Offload incoming deliveries and transport goods safely into the warehouse.
Unload and check incoming goods before they are placed into storage.
Allocate pallets into the appropriate warehouse racking locations.
Safely wrap and secure pallets ready for storage or dispatch.
Assist other departments when required to support the smooth running of the business.
Knowledge & Experience:
Previous experience as a Forklift Truck Driver, ideally within a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
Proven ability to efficiently and safely load and unload a variety of vehicles.
Minimum 2 years' warehouse experience.
Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures.
Experience using stock management or warehouse management software.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to working safely and efficiently.
Due to the location of the site, you will need to have your own transport and be able to travel to and from work reliably
