A leading UK main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to join their Eastern Region team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and highly regarded contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the region and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression. You will be working on a mixture of Schools, Hospitals of large value.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will work closely with the Site and Project Management teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme, specification and quality requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Setting out and surveying works accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications.
* Producing and maintaining site records, including quality documentation and inspection records.
* Checking drawings, specifications and technical information and identifying any discrepancies.
* Working closely with subcontractors and site management to ensure works are completed to the required standards.
* Carrying out levels, measurements and dimensional checks.
* Supporting the management of technical queries and resolving engineering issues on site.
* Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery.
* Ensuring works comply with relevant health, safety and environmental requirements.
* Assisting with quality control, snagging and handover activities.
* Liaising with the design team, subcontractors, consultants and wider project team.
* Maintaining accurate as-built information and engineering records
Salary description
£45000.00 - £55000.00 per year
